Competitive Carbink
Carbink is a purely defensive Pokemon, your mission is not to put an end to the opponents, if not withstand his punches and pull them harmful spitting (toxic / Toxic), take the field stone and withstand more shocks, however steels make it fairy dust, a Scizor with Bullet Punch breaks it from a single blow even with Reflect in the field and not to mention a Metagross with Meteor Mash or an Aegislash with Iron Head that destroy the small with only his gaze.
In stats the rock receives about 150 beautiful in every defense, making it a pseudo-Shuckle/Mega red however the 50 in each stat missing especially PS merman it much, though the Sturdy-Rest combination helps a lot as well as the access of the Reflecscreen, Stealth Rock and the always annoying for those who like abusing the State, Safeguard change.
However Carbink is diminished by Taunt... and rain down the Taunters as Sableye or Thundurus. Contrary to its base, Diancie is who can do more offensively, while retaining the 150 of Carbink and achieving about 100 in each attack making laugh of the Taunters... even a little.
Although not everything in Carbink is bad, if it is well used it can cause many problems, with Trick Room access your bad speed can be a blessing for then bother with Toxic, Light Screen and Reflect. Rest to recover and Stealth Rock to load the focus or Mega-Charizard and, if you want something to trap opponents with Toxic and rocks, flak (which also removes the flying type) or force mole are the best options.
